Toshiba at the IFA pulled off a surprise by unveiling a touchscreen tablet. The tablet known as JournE features a 7-inch display (800×480) and runs on an ARM-based processor with Windows CE 6.0 Pro handling the OS duty. The tablet is capable to output 1080p HD content via the included HDMI port or can show scaled HD content on its screen.
JournE has 1GB internal memory that can be expanded with SD card, a USB port, an RSS reader, YouTube support and Internet Explorer browser.
Toshiba has priced it at 250 Euros ($357) and will go on sale later this year.
