Apple has given us the Indian pricing of its Snow Leopard OS and for the first time it looks like they haven’t disappointed on the pricing front. Just like the international policy followed by Apple, Indian Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard users are also eligible for a upgrade, which will cost Rs. 1,800 for a single user license or Rs. 2,900 for a Family Pack consisting of five-user license.
Tiger users with Intel-based Macs will have to fork out the full retail value of the Mac Box Set which will cost Rs. 10,000 for a single user license and Rs. 13,500 for Family Pack. The box set includes the OS, iLife ’09 and iWork ’09.
Users will be able to get their copies “within four weeks” through Apple authorized resellers.
