We also managed to get our hands on the device at the event today and though it was only for a few mins, one thing that became obvious to me as soon as I held it in my hands was – definitely not worth the asking price. It has that plasticky feeling that you wouldn’t expect from a premium phone. The slider mechanism too seemed like it was forced to reveal the QWERTY keypad. However, this could be because of the tilt it offers. Coming to the good things, the keys on the keyboard are decently spaced out and are nice to type on, the UI was snappy and responded quite well and a decent camera.
Finally, I would like to point out that this was just an initial impression from what I used for say like 15-20 mins but maybe a couple of weeks of usage or so could change my mind.
In the meantime, enjoy our hands-on shots with the last one taken from N97’s camera.
