Getac who prides to be the third largest specialist in rugged mobile products have introduced an upgraded V100 model. The ATEX certified notebook enhances processors, RAM, HDD and wireless connectivity. Processor has been upgraded to 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 800MHz FSB and 3MB L2 cache while the RAM up to 4GB and up to 320GB HDD or 128GB SSD. Other upgrades include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and a Smart Card Reader.
Emphasizing on the rugged standards, V100 complies MIL-STD 810F and IP54 specifications and comes in a strong magnesium alloy casing with sealed I/O ports for added protection.
V100 will sell from next month.
