Acer already has its 11.6-inch netbook in the market and now according to Digitimes, its Taiwanese counterpart, Asus will also jump in the bandwagon with an 11.6-inch Eee PC netbook. Jerry Shen, President, Asus didn’t have much to say about the larger sized Eee PC but claimed that 30 percent of this year’s shipment will belong to the 11.6-inch model.
On the other hand, Asus is also planning to launch CULV based ultra-thin notebooks. They’ll be launching a 15.6-inch model, XS15 and 13.3-inch model in July with a price hovering in between 799-999 Euros and 599-699 Euros respectively. There’s also a 14-inch notebook planned for the end of this year.
