Nokia 5800 XpressMusic gets a software bump with new features

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

 

Nokia 5800XM users can hook their phone right away with NSU to make their good phone better. Nokia has released a software update that promises to improve performance as well as add new functionalities. To name a few, the upgrade gives faster data download speed, integrated dictionary, enhanced email etc.

List of added features and improvements:

– Faster user interface and faster download times
– Updated in-device search
– New camcorder features: second camera support for still image capture in addition to video calls, burst mode that allows people to take multiple pictures one after another without needing to repress the picture taking button
– Mobile Dictionary: built-in dictionary functionality with voice playback of words utilizing text-to-speech technology, support for 38 languages
– Application Update: with Application Update people can check for available updates for applications and update them directly in the device. Applications can also be kept up-to-date by setting the checking to automatic.

    I followed the link on the above article and got the software. It is brilliant, i have a better using experience with my 5800 XM. One question is, the application just couldn’t work after three months usage, is it a paid one or due to my wrong operation? Anyone met this problem?
