Apple is facing a lawsuit from an Ohio parent whose kid’s pants caught fire because of iPod Touch in his pocket. The incident occured when the iPod Touch was switched off and the kid suffered second degree burns on his legs and thankfully was saved by his friend who pulled out his pants in time.
According to the lawsuit, Apple as well as 10 Apple Store employees has been sued for negligence and recklessness in addition to the obvious mental and physical trauma the child will have to suffer. The total claim goes above $150,000 that includes compensatory, punitive damages as well as attorney fees.
