Sony was happily flaunting off the 50 million PSP figure but its Japanese counterpart has doubled the total sales in excess of 100 million and making DS, the fastest console to reach such a milestone. On March 6, Nintendo shipped out the 100 millionth unit from the DS franchise which comprises of the original DS (launched in Nov 2004), DS Lite (launched in Mar 2006) and DSi (launched in Nov 2008).
Earlier this month, DSi was announced for US, Australia and some European countries.
