Samsung has announced S5600 and S5230 touchscreen phones that will reach the European markets soon. Both the phones are equipped with TouchWiz UI with widgets support and has Gesture Lock feature. A user can assign different menu items to alphabets A-Z and unlocking to a particular alphabet takes the user to the corresponding menu item.
The 12.9mm thick S5600 sports a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display with haptic feedback, 3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1, FM Radio, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Google bundled services, microSD slot and slew of other smartphone features.
The S5230 is slimmer than S5600, measuring only 11.9mm. It has a 3-inch WQVGA screen, 3MP camera, DNSe, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD slot, accelerometer and a virtual QWERTY keypad.
S5600 will launch in May while S5230 in April.
