It’s not the first time we have seen UK’s Ministry of Defense looking for new offense and defensive tools to fight on the warfront. This time, they have contracted a UK based company to produce gel-filled helmets that can increases the chances to save a soldier’s life when a bullet is aimed at the head. The D30 shock-absorbing gel looks like an orange jelly that will be integrated in the helmet itself. When a bullet hits the helmet, the gooey gel will start contracting to transform in a solid form, thus, stopping the bullet in its track.
