PS4

The other day Inquirer got a lengthy piece of an exclusive report citing unnamed reps from Sony that Intel has struck a deal with Sony to develop GPUs for PS4. Well, it looks like Sony is not ready to take any shit about its console rumors and squashed it immediately. SCE Europe rep terms this one as “the best work of fiction”. Full quote below:

“It’s nonsense, and is quite possibly the best work of fiction I’ve read, since Lord of the Rings.”

This is not the first time Sony has reacted sharply to a rumor. The PSP2 rumor which originated last month also got a similar reply.

Do you work for Sony then Joshua? Just curious as you “know”. I mean I “know” Microsoft have conceeded the X Box will never beat the PlayStation and therefore have decided to never make another one… Not quite pal. But anyways, why are we already pining for a PS4, is the PS3 not enough for you greedy bastards, I’ve had mine since day one and still treat the bastard like it’s brand new. We’ll get a PS4 eventually but don’t push it. Would you rather they top PS3, or just rush it and it flop?
