Logitech India has updated its universal remote range, Harmony with One. The Harmony One can take care of all the remote controlled electronic equipments in your home with ease. It has a 2.2-inch color touch screen with capacitive technology (also found in iPhone). This means that the touch screen will only respond from the electrical charges transmitted from the fingertips. It is more durable and efficient compared to touch screens which respond to pressure.
The Harmony One has smartly divided the remote into four distinct zones – numbers; traditional DVD controls; D-pad with volume and channel up/down; and on-screen menu buttons. Other features include a one-touch activity control and on-screen notification if something interferes with the Infrared command.
This piece of technology, however, does not come cheap and will retail at Rs. 18495 ($423). Yes, that’s a tad cheaper than PS3 and equivalent to standard CRT TV.
