Nokia 7900 Prism

The Finnish giant has announced its Prism collection to appeal to people who love sharp edges. The initial two offerings from the collection are the 7900 and 7500. We have seen both of these phones before and already have some details regarding their specification. The 7900 is the expensive one which boasts an anodized aluminium backcover with the front and the sides bearing the geometric designs. The phone runs on Series 40 3rd edition, has an OLED screen, quadband (US users rejoice!), dual band 3G, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera and 1 gig of internal memory. It also features a living wallpaper which Nokia touts that it subtly changes throughout the day according to time as well as battery and signal strength, so that each screen is unique. Haven’t we already seen this in Samsung phones? Nokia 7900 is priced at 400 Euros (~$550) and will be available in Europe from Q3.

The second instalment, 7500 is the cheaper sibling of 7900 which is priced at 210 Euros (~$290). 7500 Prism has a smooth black exterior spliced with bright, interchangeable color accents. This also runs on Series 40 and features 2 megapixel camera, a music player, other multimedia features and an expandable memory slot via microSD.
