SPH-P9000: Redefining Mobile Convergence

Mobile WiMAX Summit 2006 got an unconventional looking gadget from Samsung in the form of SPH-P9000. This little device can do what UMPCs are capable of and even doubles up a cell phone. It features a full QWERTY keyboard, runs Windows XP, a 5″ WVGA screen, 256MB RAM, 1GHz processor, 1.3 megapixel camera and WiMAX. On the phone capabilities, it has CDMA and is EVDO enabled. The powerpacked SPH-P9000 weighs under 600 grams and will hit the shelves in the first half of 2007, obviously in Korea.
