The software giant Microsoft is aiming to install its audio and video software into the mobile phones. It will enable the consumers to play music they have saved in the Windows Media format on their PCs onto their handsets.
U.S. based mobile manufacturer Motorola and Japan’s NEC have already integrated Microsoft’s media decoders into their handsets for 3G mobile networks. Microsoft is also aiming to increase its market share and now is looking at Nokia, Seimens and Sony Ericsson.
