Windows 7 RC bi-hourly shutdowns start from today

 
Just a heads up to those still using the Release Candidate version of Windows 7. Windows 7 RC will automatically shutdown after every two hours till the expiry of RC in June. An easy and logical way is to of course, install a fresh retail copy of Windows 7.

Microsoft and Amazon have agreed to enter into a patent cross-licensing agreement. With the agreement in place, both companies will have access to patents from a broad range of products and technology. Here’s an interesting tidbit to get you, Microsoft fanboys, excited. Zune.net scheduled maintenance came out with an update to the Zune software (v4.2.202.0) and it’s got references of Zune Phone. The reference was found in software’s .inf file that lists all the compatible devices with their hardware IDs.
