iBall launches Windows 8.1 tablet for Rs. 4,999

iBall today announced a new tablet that could be easily termed as one of the cheapest Windows 8.1 running tablet. The iBall Slide i701 is priced at just Rs. 4,999 and brings in full Windows 8.1 OS on a budget that will also be upgradeable to Windows 10 in the near future.

The affordable price tag understandably comes with mediocre specs like a 7-inch HD display, quad-core Intel Atom processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot a 2 megapixel camera and front-facing camera, an HDMI port and 3200mAh battery.

The tablet also gets a year of Office 365 subscription for free, 1TB of OneDrive of storage, a free HDMI cover and three interchangeable protective covers.
