One thing evident at this year’s CES is the plethora of wearable devices to choose from and smartwatch is at the top of the list. Alcatel too, joined the bandwagon and showcased their smartwatch at the CES.
Alcatel’s offering is slightly different than the rest of the crowd for two simple reasons – it has a round dial and secondly it works with Android and iOS both, which is a big plus considering even the best looking watches like the LG G Watch R and the Moto 360 are compatible with Android only.
The Watch does not feature a removable band but Alcatel will sell the Watch with stainless steel resin band options. The device has a very simple user interface that allows to monitor steps, act as a remote camera shutter button and monitor heart rate. The companion app enhances the watch functionality by allowing users to customise watch faces, set anti-theft alert and more.
The Alcatel Onetouch Watch will retail for $149.
