Smartbands and smart watches that track physical activity are all the rage right now and Google is trying to jump on the bandwagon with a software solution of its own. Dubbed Fit, the app will take advantage of the available sensors in your Android device to track any sort of physical activity. The activity then can be displayed on an Android smartphone, tablet, web or even Android Wear devices.
Another advantage of Google Fit is that it supports popular apps like Strava, Withings, Runtastic, Runkeeper and Noom Coach so users can check all the data on a single interface.
The Google Fit app is now available for free on Play Store.
