Apple today announced a refresh to its Macbook Air lineup with improved hardware and lower price, making it more affordable. The Macbook Air now starts from Rs. 65,900 and gives the option to users to go with the fourth-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. Apple claims these notebooks with the new processor and OS X Mavericks give the 13-inch Macbook Air a battery life of up to 12 hours while its smaller sibling can run for up to 9 hours.
The 11-inch MacBook Air comes with a 1.4 GHz processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.7 GHz, 4GB of memory and is available with 128GB of flash storage starting at Rs. 65,900. The one with 256GB of flash storage starts at Rs. 79,900. The 13-inch MacBook Air comes with a 1.4 GHz processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.7 GHz, 4GB of memory and is available with 128GB of flash storage starting at Rs. 72,900, and is priced at Rs. 86,900 for 256GB of flash storage. Configure-to-order options include a 1.7 GHz Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3 GHz, up to 8GB of memory and up to 512GB flash storage.
