Nokia’s first Android-powered smartphone has been announced for the Indian market. The forked Android device boasts a hardware design akin to Nokia’s Asha series while the interface is inspired by Nokia’s more premium Lumia phones. The phone won’t come with any Google services but comes with Microsoft and Nokia services like OneDrive, Outlook, Skype, Fastlane, HERE Maps, MixRadio.
Hardware-wise, the Nokia X supports Dual-SIM connectivity, 4-inch IPS capacitive display, 3MP camera, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.
The Nokia X will be available from today for Rs. 8,599.
