Taiwan-based ADATA has launched the DashDrive Air AE800 for the Indian market that makes it easier for users to carry heaps of data and wirelessly share to different mobile devices. The AE800 builds on the AE400 that ADATA launched earlier this year, allowing up to 3 users to simultaneously stream 1080p video or up to 5 users if they’re watching 720p content. The AE800 also acts as a wireless hotspot that enables connection to up to 8 devices.
ADATA says the AE800 integrates a 5200mAh battery that doubles up as a power bank for mobile devices, USB 3.0 support and Samba/WebDAV streaming protocol support.
The AE800 comes in a capacity of 500GB and is priced at Rs. 13,199.
