Lite-On brings its slimmest external optical drive to India

Lite-On has announced a new portable optical drive for the Indian market. Lite-On claims the eUAU108 is one of the world’s slimmest optical drive that measures just 13.2mm in height and 250g in weight. The plug-and-play drive requires just a USB port to power itself and is equipped with Smart Burn technology that adjusts writing method and power level to write disc with the highest writing quality.

Furthermore, the drive supports Link2TV that connects the drive to the TV via the USB port and allows users to play music, pictures and video content.

The external optical drive will sell for Rs. 2,700.
