Dell has expanded its multimedia-centric Inspiron series with three new notebooks that brings style, akin to what you find on Dell’s XPS series. The two notebooks from the Inspiron 7000 series boast an aluminium chassis and packs in some decent hardware to complement the premium design.
The notebooks come in display sizes of 14-inch or 15-inch, supports up to Full HD resolution (optional), 300nits of brightness and touchscreen support with Corning Gorilla Glass protecting the display.
The Inspiron 14 and 15 are powered by Intel’s fourth generation Core i5 or i7 processor, SSD option for Inspiron 15 and discrete Nvidia graphics card.
The Inspiron 11 3000 is targeted at consumers seeking an affordable and a portable solution. The notebook features a similar design to the Inspiron 14 and 15 but instead of aluminium, Dell has opted for plastic. The 11.6-inch notebook also features a touchscreen display, Windows 8, noise-cancelling dual-array microphones and latest generation of Intel Celeron processor.
The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series starts at INR 32,990 and in the Inspiron 7000 Series laptops The Inspiron 14 7000 starts at Rs. 71,990 and will be available in mid-November while the Inspiron 15 is available now for Rs. 68,990. The Inspiron 11 3000 starts from Rs. 32,990 and will sell at the same time as Inspiron 14.
