Official IRCTC app lands on Windows devices

IRCTC has teamed up with Microsoft to launch the first official app for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 operating systems. IRCTC – as we know – is the official website to book long distance Indian Railway tickets and with the app, users will be able to book travel tickets and do lot more.

The app will function throughout the day except between 8AM to 12PM and 11.30PM to 12.30AM and will enable to make train enquiries, make railway reservations, check PNR status, booking/cancellation history.

The app is available for free on respective app stores.
