Toshiba has announced a new series of memory cards that offer the world’s fastest writing speed. The Exceria and Exceria Pro cards will make its way to the market from October and will offer up to 120MB/s and 240MB/s of write speed respectively.
Toshiba says this will enable users to click continuous photographs at high speed and even help to suffice the demand when 4K recording cameras go mainstream.
As for the cards, they’re compliant with the UHS-II standard, supports SD Memory Card Standard Ver. 4.10 and has a read speed of up to 260MB/s.
The cards will first go on sale in Japan with the Exceria Pro coming in 16 or 32GB storage options while Exceria coming in 32 and 64GB options.
