WD intros My Passport Ultra External HDD with backup protection

WD has expanded its My Passport lineup of external hard drives with the My Passport Ultra – a USB 3.0 hard drive with backup protection. In addition to providing up to 1TB of storage with faster data transfer speeds with USB 3.0, the hard drive comes with WD SmartWare Pro backup software, Dropbox integration, hardware encryption and password protection to curb any unauthorised access.

The WD My Passport Ultra range consists of 500GB and 1TB variants and the highest-capacity variant goes for Rs. 6,299 with 3-year limited warranty.
