A leak on Google Drive’s service has revealed Google’s intention on developing a note-taking app called Google Keep, similar to Google Notebook or Evernote. The screenshot published by The Verge shows how users will be able to take notes, colour-code them and even build a checklist.
Google has now yanked the webpage pointing towards Google Keep but it seems the service will get a dedicated app but sit under the Drive service when accessed from the web browser.
Google has been testing Google Keep since last year, which means there’s a fair bit of chance to see the service go live later this year.
