Sony unveils Xperia Z and ZL at CES

Sony today officially announced the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL smartphones. Both smartphones are spec’d similarly but the Xperia ZL features a smaller form factor compared to the Xperia Z. The phones come with some powerful specs like a 5-inch full HD 1080p Reality Display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM.

It also has a 13 megapixel camera with Exmor RS lens, HDR video and is even dust and water resistant conforming to IP55 & IP57 standards.

Both phones will arrive this quarter and will be upgradeable to Android 4.2 shortly after launch.
