LG Electronics’ display manufacturing arm today confirmed the display technologies they’ll showcase at the CES next month. The first set of hardware includes Ultra High Definition (UHD) panels that will come in sizes of 55-inch, 65-inch and 84-inch. For the uninitiated, UHD panels support a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, which is four times the resolution found on a full HD TV.
LG Display will also showoff a 5.5-inch full HD display for mobile devices, a 7-inch tablet display with 1920×1200 resolution, 12.9-inch laptop screen with 2560×1700 (QSXGA) resolution, a 30-inch 4K2K (4096×2160) monitor and an improved 55-inch OLED TV panel.
