Sony has started rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Xperia go, Xperia U and Xperia sola phones. These mid-range devices from Sony will get the update in the next few weeks, depending on the region.
In addition to the OS upgrade, Sony has also integrated Sony media apps like Walkman, Album, Movies; extended standby mode that increases standby by up to four times, revamped lock screen; data management; resizable widgets.
Xperia sola has also earned a new feature called as Glove Mode. The mode takes advantage of the floating touch technology and enables users to use the phone even while wearing gloves.
