Microsoft may’ve been rolling out some decent software updates to its current generation Xbox console but the hardware hasn’t got an upgrade since its launch, with the exception being the Kinect add on. However, it seems Microsoft is finally looking to refresh the hardware with the new Xbox within the next 18 months, according to a job posting on Microsoft Careers site.
The job description reads “over the next eighteen months Microsoft will release new versions of all of our most significant products including Windows (Client, Server, Phone and Azure), Office and Xbox.”
Disappointingly, the listing has now been taken off from the site but we can still read it, thanks to Google Cache.
