Just as expected, Google announced their first ever Nexus tablet created by Asus. Priced at $199 (8GB), Nexus 7 goes for the Kindle Fire crowd rather than the iPad’s target market with its affordable price. Nexus 7 will be the first device to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and will be powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.
As for other features, it comes with a 7-inch 1280×800 IPS display, 1GB RAM, 1.2MP front-facing camera, 8 or 16GB internal storage, microUSB port and battery life of up to 10 hours.
