In addition to launching the XPS 14 in the United States, Dell has also brought the notebook to India. The XPS 14 will join the lone XPS 13 ultrabook but will go for consumers who seek an extended battery life along with multitude of connectivity options. XPS 14 uses the same high-end materials like anodized machined aluminum, silicone laptop base, edge-to-edge display along with Corning Gorilla Glass and magnesium alloy with soft touch paint for the palm rests to give the notebook a premium look.
Equipped with the 3rd generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, the 20.7mm thin XPS 14 features 14-inch display with 1600×900 resolution support and 400nits of brightness, integrated Intel graphics or discrete 1GB Nvidia GT630M GPU, 500GB HDD + 32GB mSATA or 512GB SSD, up to 8GB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, 1.3MP camera, spill resistant backlit keyboard, multi-touch trackpad and 8-cell battery giving up to 10 hours of battery life.
Dell India is now selling the notebook for a price starting from Rs. 82,990.
