It has been rumored for years but it seems Google’s fabled storage service will come out for real next month. Dubbed as GDrive, GigaOM’s source claims the service will go live in the first week of April. As for the free storage, Google is rumored to give 1GB of space compared to Dropbox’s 2GB and will charge for additional storage.
The GDrive will also be offered to Google App users and will have an API support for third party apps to take advantage of the service.
