You might have to wait a little longer if you were waiting to pick up the latest iPad off the shelf. Apple says the new iPad demand has been “off the charts” and have pushed the earliest shippng date to March 19 for those who order the device now.
Apple has sold out its pre-order stock and the stock to the brick-and-mortar stores, including Apple Store will be limited. Needless to say, expect some huge lines outside the stores.
Apple’s new iPad comes with a high resolution Retina Display supporting a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. It also comes with a fater A5X CPU with quad-core graphics, 5MP camera with full HD video recording support, 4G LTE support and a decent 9 hours battery life on LTE.
The new iPad will go on sale from March 16 starting from $499.
