Sony has announced two new Android phones at MWC today. Hailing from the Xperia NXT Series, it’s the Xperia P and Xperia U. Xperia P is the expensive off the two that comes encased in an aluminum unibody design. It also features a 4-inch Reality display with the WhiteMagic display tech that ensures excellent viewing even in bright sunlight, 1GHz dual-core processor, an 8 megapixel camera, full HD video recording, NFC with Smart Tags support, HDMI connectivity.
Xperia U is a compact and more affordable device that features a 3.5-inch Reality Display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera and more.
Both the phones will arrive in Q2 of this year with Android 2.3 OS onboard but will be upgradeable to Android 4.0.
