If there is anything we can be certain of, LG Electronics will put together a strong show at MWC. After confirming the Optimus Vu yesterday, LG has announced the Optimus LTE Tag. The Optimus LTE Tag takes over from LG’s first Optimus LTE phone and adds Near Field Communication (NFC) support. The phone uses something called as LG Tag+ that enables users to interact with NFC-enabled stickers that can help to automatically change phone settings. For instance, a scan of the tag on the car dashboard will start the phone’s GPS and activate Bluetooth.
As for rest of the features, the Optimus LTE Tag comes with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch QVGA display, Android 2.3 OS 5MP and 1.3MP camera, 16GB internal memory, DLNA, Wi-Fi, GPS, MHL and 1700mAh battery.
LG will release the device first in South Korea followed by other regions.
