Huawei at CES 2012 unveiled their slimmest smartphone – Ascend P1 S. The Ascend P1 S is in fact, one of the slimmest phones in the world that measures just 6.68mm in thickness.
Ascend P1 S comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display that supports a resolution of 960×540 pixels and integrates Gorilla Glass for extra reliability.
The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortex-A9 processor. Other features include a PPVD back cover coating to evenly distribute battery heat, an 8MP BSI maing camera with dual flash LED and HDR support, full HD video recording, 1.3MP HD supporting front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi and more.
In addition to Ascend P1 S, Huawei will also sell Ascend P1 with a smaller battery and slightly more thickness.
Ascend P1 and P1 S will be available in Europe, Asia Pacific, North America, Middle East and China from April 2012.
