Own a Vodafone number that hasn’t been used for months? Well, if you want to preserve the number you better start using it because Vodafone is clamping down on inactive numbers.
Vodafone in accordance with DoT’s guidelines will terminate the service of prepaid users who have not used their number to make or receive phone calls, SMS or data for a continuous period of 60 days.
Vodafone says new customers will be notified of the termination service on the starter kits whereas existing customers will be notified via SMS or calls.
