Without much fanfare, Verizon has announced the sales of Google’s first Android 4.0 phone – Galaxy Nexus. Interested consumers can pick the device from the online or a retail Verizon store for $299.99 on a two-year contract.
The Galaxy Nexus on Verizon is the same as the international version except for a few changes in dimension and weight, LTE support and a larger 1850mAh battery.
Galaxy Nexus also boasts some ICS-specific features like camera with zero shutter lag, Face Unlock, Android Beam etc.
