Galaxy Nexus that went on sale last week has garnered favourable reviews but has been marred by an unusual bug that mutes or lowers the volume at its own will. The apparent issue that causes it is due to the use of 2G network on 900MHz frequency. The issue may sound a bit weird but good thing is Google has confirmed that a fix is coming soon.
“We are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix. We will update devices as soon as possible.”
There’s no exact ETA, which means you’ll have to refrain from using the 900MHz frequency.
