As promised at the Nokia World last month, Nokia has announced to bring their first Windows Phone 7 devices in India. Scheduled to reach the retail stores in mid-December, Nokia has confirmed to start taking pre-orders of the phones from early December.
Although Nokia is playing coy with the prices, we do know that Lumia 710 will target the mid-range segment whereas Lumia 800 the high-end. On the specs front, Lumia 710 comes with a 1.4GHz processor, 3.7-inch TFT ClearBlack display, 5MP autofocus camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 8GB internal memory.
Lumia 800 features 1.4GHz processor, 3.7-inch AMOLED ClearBlack curved display, 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, HD video recording and playback support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 16GB internal memory.
Nokia runs Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 OS but it brings in some differentiations like Maps & Drive with voice-guided navigation in Hindi and Music and MixRadio.
