Nokia has finally announced their new phones powered by Windows Phone 7 OS. Lumia 800 (top) is the top-end device in the Nokia chain that comes with a decently sized 3.7-inch AMOLED ClearBlack curved display and 1.4GHz processor. Additionally Lumia 800 packs in a 8MP Carl Zeiss optics, HD video recording and playback support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and 16GB internal memory.
Nokia Lumia 710 (bottom) on the other hand, is a mid-range Windows Phone device for users on a tight budget. It comes with the same 1.4GHz processor present in Lumia 800, 3.7-inch TFT ClearBlack display, 5MP auto-focus camera with LED flash Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and 8GB internal memory.
As for the Nokia differentiation – these Nokia phones will get an exclusive Nokia Drive app for navigation, Nokia Music with MixRadio that streams local music and Gigfinder that searches for the nearest live local music.
Nokia Lumia 800 will sell for 420 euros before taxes and subsidies and will ship in November in countries like France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan will get it before the end of this year and in early 2012 in rest of the countries.
Nokia Lumia 710 is priced at just 270 euros before taxes and subsidies and will go on sale in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan by the end of the year alongside the Nokia Lumia 800.
