Samsung’s Galaxy Z that was announced in Sweden will soon be available in UK. CNET reports that Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Z in UK as Galaxy R by the end of this month.
The phone is a smaller sibling to the power packed Galaxy S II and distinguishes itself on a lot of fronts. For instance, the Galaxy Z adopts a metallic back in lieu of the plastic one found on the Galaxy S II and comes with a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 4.2-inch Super LCD screen and a 5MP camera.
Rounding up the specs are 720p HD video recording support, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, an 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 1650mAh battery and Samsung Dive support.
There’s no word on the price but expect it to be a little more affordable than the Galaxy S II.
