Samsung will be launching the next iteration of their tablet in the United States next week. The larger sized Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi will reach the US shores on June 8 where it will be sold exclusively at Best Buy Union Square outlet in New York City and will start selling nationwide from June 17. The Tegra 2-toting tablet features a 10.1-inch display with 1280×800 resolution, Android 3.1 OS, TouchWiz UI (after an OTA update), 3MP and 2MP camera (back and front respectively), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, full HD playback, DLNA and 7,000mAh battery.
The 16 and 32GB Wi-Fi-only Tabs are priced at $499 and $599 respectively.
Moreover, if you’re looking for a 4G variant, Verizon too announced the LTE-based Galaxy Tab 10.1. As you’d expect, it’s same as the Wi-Fi version with the only inclusion of Wi-Fi. The LTE-based tablet will hit retail soon but consumers will be able to pre-order online starting from June 8.
