Apple India publishes iPad price, launch imminent [Updated]

UPDATE: Now available.

It seems Indians will officially get the Apple iPad soon. Apple India’s website has published official prices of both the variants of the iPad and it does look competitive. The Wi-Fi-only version of Apple’s tablet will start from Rs.27,900 for 16GB and go till Rs.37,900 for 64GB whereas the 3G variant will start from Rs.34,900 (16GB) and go up to Rs.44,900 (64GB).

If the report by Economic Times is correct, Apple could unveil the iPad in India tomorrow, which interestingly will be the day after iPad was announced last year.
