Dell rolling out Android 2.2 update for Streak

Streak users will be happy to know that Dell has confirmed the roll out of Android 2.2 Froyo update for the tablet. Users using the unlocked variant will start receiving the OTA update notification on their Streaks whereas carrier locked tablets will get the update starting sometime in December.

The update will bring additional features to the Streak like the Dell Stage UI, improved performance and memory management, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, live wallpapers and more.

While updating the firmware is fairly easy but you can go through Dell’s detailed instructions.
