T-Mobile today introduced a new smartphone in its myTouch series, called as the myTouch. The new myTouch device takes some design cues from its keyboard-toting myTouch Slide but brings in some decent features that will allow users to enjoy high-quality video calls on HSPA+ speeds.
The phone features a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen display, HSPA+ support, 1GHz MSM8255 processor, Android 2.2 (Froyo), Wi-Fi, 5MP camera with HD video recording, microSD card slot ( 8GB bundled), DLNA to wirelessly share photos and videos on a larger screen. myTouch also includes three features that are exclusive to the phone – Genius Button to compose email, SMS or initiate a call; Faves Gallery that brings the most contacted contacts together and myModes to create customized home screens for work and home.
T-Mobile hasn’t revealed the price but has pegged the release to be in “time for the holidays” in colors of white, black, plum and red.
