After ceding Blackberry user’s data access to the Indian government, the government is reportedly in talks with RIM to allow tapping of corporate e-mails. The news is unconfirmed at the moment but Reuters has a government source who claims that negotiations between both the parties are underway.
“Discussions are under way so that we get access to the other service, which is corporate e-mail, so that we can read it in readable format.”
RIM recently gave access to the messenger service to the Indian government.
